Today, I came to an idea to invite Westbam to this forum. This forum would be some kind of a tribute to him, the place where he would be able to share his records, thoughts, etc from his very beginning of career. I noticed that he does the exact thing on facebook (if you ask me, the facebook doesn't deserve to share that kind of information...information of the dj legend).
Posting and adding his tracks here, would be much more appreciated and I also think that this would bring more good than bad.

This place could be his own "library" :)

Let me know what you guyz think about it and if you have any other suggestions or opinion?

Hell yeah! I think the same and also I still have hope that WestBam put on his facebook page some unique tracks from old sets, however since I'm following him he's just only share with super-mega all known tracks like Agharta. Ok, maybe yesterday 'Rok - Cycle Sluts' wasn't so popular at that time, but still... come on, we need something special.

Back to the thing you wrote about - I'm glad you're bring that kind of stuff. This idea with promoting him as a legend with sharing what tracks he made and played is pretty cool, but... (there is always but) Of course, inviting him to this forum is ok, I can (you can as well :P) do that, no problem, but I'm also very skeptical if he wanna join us - He has a tons of fans on facebook already. Moreover, I'm not sure if he gives a shit about if thats facebook or if thats some kind of forum contains 75 users which 2 of them are active  . The main idea of promoting yourself (I think) is to get with your productions to as many people as you can and in some way he achieved it already.

I agree definitely, but what about copyrights? Is it legal?

I wanna write something and I forgot, damn!
Resuming, I would be happy as hell if he will write to us that we should promote (some kind of) him and he will give us any track we want.

It's definitely legal, if you are the artist (owner) of the track. In that case you can post or publish your track almost wherever you like...sure it's not always a good idea. But in fact I didn't have in mind about "posting his tracks" to post tracks here-mp3s. I meant to post notifications about released tracks and also incoming tracks and we would be able to leave a feedback on his tracks...which, if you ask me, is important for the artist. Everyone likes to here some comments about his productions.

After all, this forum has his name as domain, so I see only advantages of joining this forum. And after all....all the real and the biggest fans are joined here in one place. Facebook is like a myspace -> a temporary thing. And it's only the matter of time about FB life-span...maybe few more years. And after that, all his posts will go to nothing.

And there is another advantage of posting here. I think that posts here are more surveyable.

Of course there is more chances that he reject the invitation than to accept it... In that case we should send him a letter on a professional level with arguments why to join the forum...and not the letter like "Max, would you join us, please, please, please, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeasee..." You got the picture right ;)
