What do you think about posting some tracks here? I have many tracks on records so I would be able to post some tracks in high quality. Anyway, Mac if you confirm that, I suggest that the posts should be well edited (with the small picture , release date, label, tracklist,...etc).

But I'm affraid many people here will not post tracks from their collection, but just grabbing my (any maybe someone else) posted tracks...so that's no go under these conditions. (one man work and other just watch)

In that case I suggest to make a donation fund. I would rip vinyls and post them here in case that some people would appreciate my work with the small donation.

I've got idea to separate this new tracks forum from others, set password and also exclude it from google search. I don't wanna any law trouble with these thing. We can give passwords to people who's deserved it.

Confirmed. Also, we should post some kind of tutorial how to edit post. You know, like in what.cd or torretech.org sites. This forum wouldn't be a music warez forum, but the order is welcome.

How do you see that donation thing? Some kind of paypal cash or just prestige forum points?

I've got some nice ideas about that what we writing about, but I'll share with them later.

I also agree to put tracks forum into restricted area.

I found some sites which have posted tracks in very good order. Maybe I will post link to one of them later.

It depends...In case that there will be released some great tracks and we wouldn't be able to "download" them, maybe I could buy them on vinyls and rip it. You know, if I buy 5 records, it would costs at least 40€. So in that case I suggest to donate via PayPal, I think it's the easiest way, isn't it?

Let me know what you think about this idea.

PS. And it's also a good idea for you to create a donation "button" for your forum. You know, here are maybe 3 people who actually work on tracklists, everybody else do just copy/paste. You should initiate points or stars or whatever else for users. So the users could earn points with posting tracks or with donation.

That would be great if you have something interesting.

Yes it is. But I'm still not sure if this operation is legal. You're buying tracks and then you're sharing with them with other people. Also I don't want lose my forum because of that, moreover, some piracy law are different in different countries.

Oh no, I'd rather be pro publico bono or like you said - being donated with some stars or points. Special mod will be installed as soon as we agree with the rest of suggestions about new tracks forum.

From a legal point of view, If I buy tracks on a vinyl, I actually buy copyrights for the tracks, what means I can play them or share them in a public...with other words, I'm the owner of the tracks.

But if you buy a CD with the tracks, in that case you don't have any copyrights, even not to play them in a public (clubs, parties,...)

Donating doesn't mean to pay for "something" so in that case it's a kind of gift.

Ok,maybe we'll decide later about that.

The first track has been posted under the "Track" topic. Mucho Stylez - Manhunter, which can be heard in Westbam's sets in year 2002 (Nature One 02, Mayday Dortmund 02, etc...)

Let me know if you are interesting in that track for downloading.

W.
